The photography during the reception is mostly all candid, capture the moment or photojournalistic style of photography. It is important to record all the activities with people having fun and enjoying the event. Shooting some posed shots of guests at the tables, along with special groups of friends or family can be included into the mix. It important to note, that during the reception, I operate pretty much unnoticed within the event. I’m never in anyone’s way or face, but still capture all the special moments without being obtrusive.
This is an important skill as a professional photographer.
